Let’s be honest. Most of us have wasted days (or weeks) obsessing over the perfect logo, colors, and fonts.
It feels like progress. But it isn’t.
If you’re not solving a real problem for someone, the visuals don’t matter.
A good brand won’t fix a weak offer.
But a good offer makes people forgive almost anything.
I’ve fallen into this trap too.
Early on, I spent hours tweaking logos and layouts before ever validating the idea behind them.
Branding felt safer than launching. It gave me something to control, even if it didn’t move the business forward.
What actually worked was publishing a clean, clear page with a useful offer and a single call to action.
Now don’t get me wrong, this isn’t to say that branding isn’t important.
A strong brand builds trust. It helps you stand out. And over time, it becomes part of what people connect with.
But it can’t come before the value.
Your visuals should amplify what you do. Not distract from the fact that you haven’t shipped anything yet.
So if you’re feeling stuck, forget the branding for now.
Start with the value.
Focus on building something useful first, then brand it once you know it’s worth branding.
Because the truth is, most people won’t remember your logo.
They’ll remember what you helped them do.
Just start.
And if you want a faster way to get something real out there, my Framer templates can help.
They’re built to help you launch fast, so you can stop overthinking and start growing.
